Nearly 3 years at Salesforce

During my time at Salesforce, I worked in three different teams as a Product Marketing Intern, a Social media Specialist, and a Social Media Coordinator. I developed knowledge of work in the B2B and SaaS space, the small business space, and over 10 industries.

Three key elements

The product marketing management team oversees product messaging and positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement to spread the word about our products and innovations around the globe. My internship was unique because it was for Vlocity which is a startup that was acquired by Salesforce early on in 2020.

My role has been supporting the heads of Marketing in the Media & Entertainment and Communications verticals with their Clouds Industry Integration with Salesforce.

Three key elements of my internship are sales enablement, project management, and research:

I worked with multiple key stakeholders to maximize our sales enablement tools

I used project management to deliver high return on investment and enhance our productivity.

I conducted research on relevant market topics to fuel innovation and enrich market knowledge.

One of my favorite projects

A valuable project that I worked on was a media cloud solutions demo for the Salesforce Industries Summit Media Channel.

A demo is an efficient sales enablement tool used to portray the value of services through a visual demonstration to increase credibility and prospects interest.

The media channel had over 700 views in the first week of release and attendees included reps from Hulu, Disney Plus, and AT&T.

What I gained

It granted opportunities for skill development and industry exposure. I learned what it means to be a Trailblazer at Salesforce and I can add that to my list of existing wins.
